Whenever people wish to create a blog, they log on to Webs, Blogger or WordPress.com as they are free. I have also done the same thing back in 2010. WordPress (WordPress.com)

There are many who know about Blogger but never heard about WordPress. WordPress is a free blogging  open source software. Anyone can download the software from WordPress.org and install on their website for free. For that, you need to have a web host first.

WordPress.com is a hosted version of WordPress.org. It offers free services as well as paid services with pro features. You get a .wordpress.com address after you create a blog. You can set up a WordPress blog within minutes. In WordPress.com you don’t own the content that you post on your blog.

♦ Simple to use however you need to spend some time learning it if you are new to WordPress.

WordPress or Blogger? Which should you choose?

Though WordPress.com is more flexible than Blogger, free version of WordPress provides limited features compared to Blogger. Blogger doesn’t display ads on it’s own, so it proves to be better than WordPress.

If you are a newbie, and don’t like to spend some bucks, then you can consider creating a Blogger blog. WordPress is better than Blogger if it is self hosted, but Blogger is the best platform free of cost for newbies, as it’s easy, simple to set up and use. If you want to use WordPress, then I suggest you to spend some money on a web host and install WordPress.

Both WordPress and Blogger are fantastic blogging platforms, but which one is better than the other, and which one should you use? Your blogging platform depends on how serious you want to be about blogging, generally you would want to use WordPress.com or self host it yourself. Blogger is good for people who know little about websites and design because they basically set everything up for you. WordPress allows much more customization compared to blogger, it allows for a more unique looking blog fitted to your tastes. Even the WordPress.com version of WordPress seems to be better than Blogger. I think a “.wordpress.com” URL looks better and more credible than “.blogspot.com”. Overall, your blogging platform should be chosen on how serious you want to be about blogging.

Self-Hosting WordPress or going through WordPress.com are both plausible ways to start up your blogging career. Using WordPress gives you access to thousands of free themes and plugins to use on your blog. Many plugins or themes can not be found on Blogger, this makes WordPress superior to Blogger when it comes to customization. Blogger’s dashboard, to me, seems much harder to use and navigate than the WordPress dashboard. Even though both dashboards are virtually the same, the WordPress dashboard has a more comfortable format, everything is evenly aligned, and generally just looks better. Blogger’s dashboard looks like an HTML page with a few pictures and links on it, I guess you could call it unprofessional. I believe that WordPress is the better choice for any blogger who will be blogging for a living, for long periods of time, or someone who wants to get a lot out of blogging.

I enjoy being able to simply do something, like making a comment on a blog post. Commenting on a blog is easier when that blog is using WordPress. Unlike Blogger, the WordPress comment form has four fields; name, email, website, and your comment. Filling out those four forms isn’t that hard for whoever is reading the blog post, and when they return to that blog the name, email, and website boxes are automatically filled in with the previously entered information. Blogger blogs can have a comment system like WordPress does, but many of them don’t in my experience. Usually what I have to do on a Blogger blog is use a profile, like my Google profile, in order to comment. Using my Google profile to comment isn’t exactly something I want to do, because I do not want my name linked to my profile. Using WordPress allows your readers to simply enter their information and leave a comment; users can even register an account on WordPress.com and fill out the comment information there. Filling out your comment information on WordPress.com automatically fills comment forms on all WordPress blogs that are linked to WordPress.com.

Choosing WordPress over Blogger is probably the smarter choice, but as I’ve stated before, your blog platform depends on how serious you are about blogging. If you are very laid back and don’t want to do much besides throw your thoughts out on the internet, go ahead and use blogger. I’m not saying there aren’t serious bloggers on Blogger, it’s just that I would use blogger for throwing my thoughts on the internet. Bloggers who wish to establish themselves as a unique and independent blog should use WordPress, with all it’s features and customization it is sure to please you. No matter what I say, the choice is yours, but WordPress is better than Blogger in the long run.

Tutorial to use .PROV file on s40 Phones [ GPRS Settings ] | .::APAJR::.

Here is a Detailed Tutorial on How to use FREE GPRS settings on your s40 Device ( Nokia ). After blocking all older GPRS tricks by the service providers, We are giving you tricks based on GPRS Configuration. All the older tricks were worked by tweaking the Host on the connection between Application and server. But now the Service providers started to monitor the connection. They now blocks the connection which having free server as Host. Now all the tricks based on Host are not working. But the FREE IP is not blocked by the service providers. So you will still get the PROXY Tricks working fine. Now we concentrated on the same proxy tricks to give Working free GPRS trick even with Handler Modded Apps.

Note: If you have any other handset other than NOKIA's s40, then you don't need to read this tutorial.

Why only S40 ?

We already said that new tricks based on Handler mods are working only by using PROXY tricks. Every phones other than nokia's s40 can create Manual Access Point with proxy and port. But s40 phones can't create manual settings with proxy in Access point. It can define only access point name and Packet Data access point. So we have to use a .PROV file in nokia s40.

How to use PROV file in s40 ?

How you receive settings from your Service Providers ?
When you request for gprs settings to customer care, they send you a prov file ( via air ) which defines all the access points, home page, proxy, port etc..
So when you use PROV file in your phone, you cant just copy paste or download it from the internet. You should transfer it via AIR. You can transfer it either via Bluetooth, Infrared or as MMS.

Step #1 :

Download .PROV file to a phone or your PC.

Step #2 :

Now send that downloaded file to Your Phone via Bluetooth.

Step #3 :

Now you will receive Configuration settings on your Mobile. Just save it and set that as default settings.
You can do it going to Settings » Configuration » Active Default in all Applications.
Done !

What is the Difference from other tricks ?

Here, you have to configure settings on your handset. It is very simple. But if you made any small mistake, then the trick won't work for you. What you have to do now ?
Read and do  the following correctly without any mistake.

First Know what type of device you have

You may have NOKIA s40, Samsung JAVA devices, NOKIA s60, Android ( Samsung galaxy series, SONY Xperia, Micromax android devices, Karbonn android devices etc.) and other Java devices.


If you have NOKIA s40 Device (2690, c1, c2, X2, 6300 etc..), You have no option to specify PROXY on your access point settings. So what you do ?
You have to download the pre-configured access point and install it on your device. The GPRS settings is not in the form of a .JAR file it is in the form of a .PROV file. So How to install GPRS Settings on you device?
First Download the .PROV file to a phone ( your friend's phone or any.. ;p ).
Then send it to your phone via BLUETOOTH or INFRARED.
Now you will get configuration settings on your phone. Thats it !
Save that settings and set it as default for all apps.


Now if you have any other phone, What you do ??
If you have any other Devices except NOKIA s40, then you can create a new access point in your device. Go to settings » Network settings so on...
Just create a access point from network settings and give the following :

Name : APAJR Lab-OperaMini42
PROXY : 37.228.107.253
PORT : 80 APN : airtelgprs.com

and all other field blank !

Now download and install opera mini app given below. You can see it installing if you have successfully configured settings. Other wise, you can't !
